Having trouble getting your One Time Pass (OTP) Code?

Work through these steps one at a time. Most people find their code within the first few steps.

1 Check your spam or junk folder

Email programs sometimes put messages in the wrong folder. Here's how to check:

  1. Open your email (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or whichever you use).
  2. Look on the left side of the screen for a folder called Spam, Junk, or Junk Email.
  3. Click on that folder and look for an email from Visit HCSO.
  4. If you find it there, open it and use the code inside. You may also see an option to mark it as "Not Spam" so future emails go to your inbox.
2 Search for the email

Most email programs have a search bar at the top of the screen. Click on it and try searching for any of the following:

  • Visit HCSO
  • HCSOMA
  • DoNotReply@hcsoma.org

If you see the email appear in the search results, click on it to find your code.

3 Make sure you're looking for the right email

The code email comes from:

DoNotReply@hcsoma.org

The subject line will include the words "Visit HCSO". If you see an email from this address, that's the one with your code.

4 Check if you accidentally blocked us

It's possible our email address was accidentally added to your blocked senders list. If that happened, our emails won't reach you at all.

To check, look in your email settings for a section called Blocked Senders, Blocked Addresses, or Filters. If you see DoNotReply@hcsoma.org in that list, remove it and then request a new code.

5 Give it a little more time

Sometimes emails take a few minutes to arrive, depending on your email provider. If it's only been a minute or two, wait a bit longer and then check your inbox again.

6 Your code might have expired

For your security, codes only last for a limited time. If you've been troubleshooting for a while, your code may no longer work.

If that happens, don't worry — just request a new one by following the steps below.

7 How to request a new code

If your code is expired, lost, or you just want a fresh one:

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Enter your email address and submit.
  3. A new code will be sent to your email.

This works even if you just signed up for the first time. You don't need to register again — just use the login page.

8 Did you use the wrong email when signing up?

If you accidentally typed your email wrong when you first signed up, the code was sent to the wrong address.

To fix this:

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Enter your correct email address.
  3. A new code will be sent to the right place.
